HR Operations Specialist
Manage the day-to-day operations of employing workers across DACH. You will handle onboarding, contracts, compliance, and employee support, ensuring every employment relationship runs smoothly from hire to offboarding.
What you'll do
- Prepare and manage employment contracts compliant with German, Austrian, and Swiss law
- Coordinate employee onboarding including documentation, benefits enrollment, and equipment
- Handle employee queries about contracts, benefits, leave, and workplace policies
- Ensure compliance with local employment regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal changes
- Manage offboarding processes including documentation and final settlements
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of HR operations experience in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland
- Working knowledge of DACH employment law, particularly German Arbeitsrecht
- Fluent German and professional English
- Experience preparing and reviewing employment contracts
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion
Nice to have
- Experience in an EOR, PEO, or global employment context
- Knowledge of employment regulations in multiple DACH countries
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) or formal HR education
